What is needed:

Must: Electrical Engineering background with soldering capability.

Must: Prior experience on working with enterprise servers.

Must: Ability to use hardware tools like digital multimeters, oscilloscopes and analyzers needed in triage activities

Must: Knowledge of software tools like OrCad, Allegro to view schematics/board files to extract debug points

Good to have: Experience with office productivity tools like MS office, Confluence, PowerBI, JIRA, confluence, slack and similar tools for better communication and productivity.

Would you please help looking at electrical engineer experience specific to servers and motherboard/PCB ?

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

An understanding of functional, integration, system and regression testing

Ability to read and understand complex schematics and trace signals in PCBs using PCB design file/gerber file viewers.

Ability to drive/execute systematic, methodical board and system level debug, design of experiments, and root cause analysis.

Familiarity with using the Linux shell, scripting languages and low-level programming.

Experience with debugging and testing voltage regulator modules and associated hardware

Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and power load tools.

Familiarity with standard communication protocols such as I2C, JTAG, and SPI

The ability to understand the high-level architecture of the system, as well as a more detailed understanding of subsystem building blocks.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint

Knowledge of board hardware and software, design and test methodologies

Familiarity with defect tracking tools, product lifecycle management tools, and board design tools

Experience creating test project status reports and metrics, including a Test Dashboard

Experience researching and documenting bug reports upon discovery of a quality problem.

A successful track record of working with geographically distributed cross-functional groups.

Strong organizational, verbal and written skills
