Job Details

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer licensure for South Carolina, or ability to get reprocosity
  • 7+ years in electrical engineering with a focus on building systems
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or other electrical design software
  • Strong knowledge of NEC

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed electrical designs for building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Manage electrical engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Work closely with architects, other engineers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • nsure all designs comply with national and local building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
