Responsible for the successful execution of commissioning on a Federal government project. Utilizes knowledge and skill set to analyze and provide solutions for client's needs. Collaborates with other disciplines and clients to provide complete results.
Key Responsibilities: - Mechanical Commissioning Specialist
- Ensuring work execution is in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Manage commissioning scope, schedule, budget and quality on the assigned project
- Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on projects
- Recognized as a technical specialist by the division having indepth knowledge of an engineering process and/or of technical aspects of an industry
- Actively shares knowledge with other staff members
SkillsPreferred design experience related to any of the following subject matters:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commissioning on projects of similar size and scope. Provide documented experience as a lead person responsible for commissioning of systems of the type and complexity similar to the systems in the construction projects.
- Federal industry experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and control's system startup, TAB, and PVT
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
Commissioning Agent, certified by a national recognized commissioning organization. Acceptable certifications include:
- ACG Certified Commissioning Agent,
- AEE Certified Building Commissioning Professional
- BCA Certified Commissioning Professional
- ICB/TABB Certified Commissioning Supervisor
- NEBB Certified Commissioning Professional
EducationRequires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
