AECOM Water is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join our Milwaukee, WI office. This role will lead and support design efforts for a variety of water infrastructure projects including treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance.

Job Description:

Design low voltage and medium voltage electrical distribution systems and building services.

Prepare and develop engineering studies, reports, calculations, designs, specifications, and construction cost estimates in compliance with applicable code and standard requirements.

Establish electrical equipment performance parameters based on project requirements and coordinate with equipment vendors to refine preliminary selections.

Use computer software as a tool to solve engineering problems.

Manage designs during construction including shop drawing review, information request response, and punch list generation.

Work within a project team environment, interfacing and coordinating with other disciplines and design team members.

Collaborate with design professionals and project managers in other US offices. Occasionally collaborate internationally.

Occasional light local and national travel to project sites.

Perform electrical system designs including:Switchgears,

Switchboards,

Motor control centers,

Variable frequency drives,

Generators, transformers,

Distribution panels, and

Other electrical distribution systems components.

Perform design for lighting, fire alarm, telephone, security and grounding systems.

Prepare design drawings including single line diagrams, electrical plans, wiring schematics, schedules, etc.
