Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot different operating phases in the production of cement. Evaluate and recommend improvement projects driven to improve plant overall performance including safety, environmental impacts, production, cost, and reliability. Lead process related Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve overall plant performance. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operational groups. Provide training to production operators I (control room operators) and production operators II. Provide expertise and technical support to Junior Process Engineers. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Must have 5 years of experience in cement manufacturing, including material handling, combustion, drying, and emissions. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Optimizing ball mill designs and operating conditions; and Handling and transferring solid materials, including mechanical details of machinery. Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA); and Designing optimization programs to outline plant operation parameters.
