Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Arkansas Operations, the Manufacturing Process Engineer oversees the Powder Coat Department within our production facility across all shifts. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the efficient performance of the manufacturing process area, meeting production output, maintenance, safety, and quality goals. While remote work is not available for this position, the opportunity to lead and drive excellence in manufacturing processes is unparalleled.

Key Responsibilities:
- Become a process expert in the assigned manufacturing area, encompassing machine, robotic, and manual workstations.
- Mentor supervisors and employees to enhance problem-solving skills and improve manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to address issues with a broader scope, driving continuous improvement.
- Identify and escalate issues requiring capital investment or design resources through appropriate management channels.
- Enhance system designs for improved safety and production efficiency.
- Develop and execute in-house testing procedures to validate process improvements.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to drive informed decision-making.
- Demonstrate initiative in acquiring and maintaining the skills, abilities, and knowledge required for the role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Industrial Technology, etc.) plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
- Experience with powder coat operations is required.
- Preferably, familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc Robots, and/or HAAS CNCs.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills are preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities and projects effectively.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Capable of lifting to 40lbs unassisted.
