Job Details

As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will apply established Mechanical Engineering principles to plan, design, and develop building systems.

• Direct all aspects of assigned engineering projects, including oversight of the project team.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to employees on both technical and soft skills.
• Technical Expertise: Perform independent review and checking of engineering calculations and design documents. Continue to develop strong technical knowledge in current technologies, design techniques, and regulations.
• BIM Software: Utilize BIM software to develop design documents and review shop drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
• Quality Assurance: Perform QA/QC procedures and enforce quality control throughout project development. Ensure compliance with Project Delivery standards and provide technical solutions to construction problems.
• Experience, Technical Skills, and Attributes:

Background Qualifications:

• 7 to 15 years of engineering design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• HVAC, Plumbing, Controls, and Fire Protection systems for buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, REVIT, and Microsoft Office
