Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform radome optimization analysis of radome constructions that achieve key performance parameters for our customers.
2. Conduct or contract for 3-D computer analyses that characterize all the different parameters of antenna performance with and without a radome present. Our customers may provide their antenna gain patterns in their own 3-D formats for us to then model/analyze the effect of a radome construction on antenna performance.
3. Act as a liaison/collaborator with mechanical/structural engineers, both internally and with our customers, in communicating key interface issues, pertinent drawing notes, and defining acceptance testing protocols.
4. Devise and conduct RF testing to characterize the effects of radomes on antenna performance.
5. Specify test plans for an outside company to perform RF testing to meet our customers' requirements.
6. Support proposals for radomes and related structures.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
2. Experience in design and test of antennas, radomes, and/or electromagnetic materials
3. Knowledge of low dielectric materials such as glass/epoxy, quartz/cyanate ester, ceramics.
4. Familiarity with integrated radome features such as polarizers, frequency selective surfaces, absorber materials.

If you are a passionate Electrical Engineer with a strong background in these areas, we encourage you to apply. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals and make a significant impact on our organization's engineering projects.
