We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. This role is perfectly suited for someone who is highly organized, accuracy driven, and has excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
2. Creating technical design documentation, including mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, parts lists, weldments, and installation drawings.
3. Overseeing and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
5. Conducting performance and quality control tests on new designs.
6. Analyzing test data and reports to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications.
7. Using advanced knowledge of metal fabrication, finishing, machined parts, and weldments to enhance design and production processes.
8. Presenting design plans and data to internal teams and stakeholders.
9. Continuously improving and updating technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM).
2. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Advanced experience in creating and interpreting technical design documentation such as mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, parts lists, weldments, installation drawings, and GD&T.
4. Highly proficient with metal fabrication, finishing, machined parts, and weldments.
5. Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
7. Strong collaborative and cross-functional mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Accuracy driven with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
9. Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information.
10. Highly detail oriented with the ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, test data, reports, and documentation.

Note: Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
