We are recruiting for a Project Engineer to design and maintain manufacturing systems, including capital project and process improvement initiatives, in a food manufacturing setting.
This position will:

• Oversee capital projects including justification, selection, contract negotiations, purchases, installation, and commissioning
  
• Identify and implement process engineering initiatives by observations on the production floor and coordination with cross functional teams to achieve measurable process improvements
  
• Support manufacturing operations with presence on the production floor
  

• Ensure product optimization from concept to manufacturing by working closely with the product development team
  Ideally, candidates will have the following experience/knowledge:
  
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
  
• 5+ years food, beverage, or pet food manufacturing experience
  
• Ability to troubleshoot, make corrections, and remedy manufacturing issues
  
• Ability to present findings, offer suggestions and solutions to a cross functional team
  
• Ability to communicate and negotiate contract terms with vendors
  
• Utilize AutoCAD or similar software to generate drawings, process flow diagrams as well as process and instrumentation drawings in support of capital projects

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
