Clayton Services is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a thriving company in League City.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $120,000-$150,000/year

Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

Design and develop shell and tube heat exchangers, bundles, and components

Collaborate with engineering team to create innovative and efficient heat exchangers

Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to contribute to project completion

Utilize AutoCAD and thermal rating software to create designs and sizing models

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of the design and development process

Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge in heat exchanger technology

Ensure all designs meet safety and quality standards

Successfully completed projects on time and on budget

Other duties as assigned

Senior Mechanical Engineer Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent organization skills

Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced work environment

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Senior Mechanical Engineer Education and Experience:

A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required

PE License is required

10+ years of relevant experience is required

Experience working on and/or designing heat exchangers and pressure vessels is required

Experience using PVelite, CodeCalc, HTRI, AutoCad, and RCS is highly desired

Experience using Solidworks and Compress is required

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship available.
