Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work on cutting-edge projects within the aerospace industry. You will be working closely with our design and engineering teams to develop, analyze, and optimize innovative products and solutions. This role will require a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, product design, and the ability to apply those skills in a practical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solidworks design for RF and electromechanical systems. Experience with space hardware is a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test all aspects of electromechanical components and assemblies.
2. Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
3. Conduct product testing and create models and prototypes.
4. Perform complex calculations to determine manufacturing methods, staff requirements, and production standards.
5. Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative department.
6. Apply understanding of ANSI Y14.5, thermal analysis, and structural analysis in design and development processes.
7. Utilize SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation in the design and testing of products.
8. Work on projects related to space hardware and other aerospace applications.
9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient in SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation.
Extensive knowledge of product design, RF, and electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with ANSI Y14.5, thermal analysis, and structural analysis.
Experience with space hardware and aerospace applications is preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
