SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing and developing advanced electrical systems for our hyperbaric oxygen chambers, focusing on board layout, motion control systems, and GUI development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, specifically in motion control (servo and stepper Motors) and GUI programming, to enhance the functionality and user interface of our medical devices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Circuit Board Design:
  • Develop and design PCB layouts for hyperbaric chamber control systems.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate electronic components and ensure reliable system operation.
  • Utilize software tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle) for schematic capture and board layout.

Motion Control Systems:
  • Design and implement motion control systems using servo and stepper motors for precise operation of hyperbaric chambers.
  • Optimize control algorithms for smooth and accurate movement.
  • Troubleshoot and refine existing motion control systems for improved performance.

GUI Development:
  • Develop intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interfaces for hyperbaric chamber control panels.
  • Utilize programming languages (e.g., C++, Python, Java) and frameworks (e.g., Qt, WPF) to create efficient and responsive GUIs.
  • Ensure the GUI is compliant with medical device standards and regulations.

Compliance and Testing:
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant FDA, CE, ASME, and NFPA standards.
  • Participate in testing and validation of electrical systems and components.
  • Document design processes and test results for regulatory submissions.

Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and quality assurance.
  • Provide technical support during the manufacturing and installation phases.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues in the field.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in PCB layout design, motion control systems, and GUI development.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
  • Experience with motion control systems including servo and stepper motors.
  • Strong programming skills for GUI development (e.g., C++, Python, Java, Qt, WPF).
  • Familiarity with medical device standards and regulations (FDA, CE, ASME).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
