Compensation: $90-120/hour

Location: Quintana, TX

Assignment Duration: 12 months+

Work Schedule: 9/80, onsite, no hybrid

Responsibilities:
Strong knowledge of power distribution within and industrial facility from 480V to 138kV. Strong knowledge of large synchronous machines

Provide engineering and technical expertise and apply advanced technical knowledge to identify electrical hazards, evaluate related risks, and assist in the development of effective risk control solutions at company's operated assets. Provide engineering and technical expertise during the development and/or revision of electrical related standards, procedures, guidelines and plans as required to meet industry standards or regulatory requirements. Provide technical expertise for electrical incident investigations

Develop and analyze electrical studies and analysis such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash

Development of electrical safe operating and engineering practices at company assets that fully incorporate aspects of company electrical safety standard and NFPA 70E

Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with the emphasis on monitoring and analysis for electrical systems for increased efficiency and reduced downtime between scheduled PMs and planned outages

Develop complex electrical scope of work packages for the execution of electrical and/or multi discipline projects

Perform and lead root cause analysis and develop cross-functional bad actor programs

Support maintenance with PM activities

Develop complex electrical engineering technical reports

Supports timely and accurate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Engineering Service Requests (ESRs)

Provides technical and commercial evaluations of engineering proposals and contracts

Develops multidiscipline Management of Change packages (MOCs) to ensure quality documentation and efficient approval and execution

Understand and interpret codes, standards and regulations as they relate to electrical

Working knowledge of Engineering Codes and Standards related to electrical engineering, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, and others

Accountable for ensuring the safety, security, health and environmental incidents are prevented through frequent job observations and assessments. Responsible for developing or collecting information in support of permit requirements as assigned

Qualifications:
10 + Years of Electrical Engineering Experience

3+ years of experience in an LNG or NGL operating facility

Familiar with ETAP Power System Modeling software and associated reports. Familiar with Modeling of Power System Harmonics and interaction with utilities

Familiar with IEEE 519 and design and specification of systems to meet the associated requirements

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Ability to effectively collaborate and work with management and other disciplines on PMT. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong written/verbal technical communication skills

Proficiency in all standard MS Office products

Ability to work safely, efficiently and effective with minimal guidance and direction
