Job Details

MUST HAVES -

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, emphasis on transportation is a plus
• 3+ years of expereince
• Understanding of transportation engineering such as bridges, roadways, highways, design concepts and more
• NHI certification is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Prepare contract plans, cost estimates, technical specifications for bridge, roadway, highway and municipal transpiration projects
• Perform design and drawing preparations using MDOT accepted version of Bentley CONNECT and public agencies design standards
• Ability to perform a variety of engineer analyses and calculations
• Routine safety inspections
• Assist in day to day communication with internal design team and with clients
