Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology, Finance, and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently, we are partnered with a premier client in Georgia in search of a highly talented Electrical Engineer.

Job Summary:
As an Electrical Engineer with this client, you will play both a support and leading role in ensuring equipment complies with all safety, environmental & other regulatory compliances as well as track engineering expense & capital budgeting compliance. Additionally, you will work to ensure the proper design, installation, modification & maintainability of new & existing plant equipment, buildings & facilities. Partnering with Engineering & Maintenance, you will provide support to the production organization to promote the production of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform activities involving continuous improvement tools, analysis of product irregularities, recommending solutions & facilitating cost-down initiatives related to improving product costs. These duties would include assisting in the training & instruction of appropriate team members & day-to-day floor support.
- Assist in the identification of unacceptable performance through analysis & acquired technical knowledge of the product & process including waste & cost reduction.
- Assist in & learn processes for preparing cost estimates, financially justifying projects, preparing budgets, reviewing design, and supervising installation & commissioning. Assists in research of new equipment, systems & processes to advance plant operations.
- Gain understanding & assist in ensuring safety, environmental & other regulatory compliances by working with appropriate associates on EHS issues, following the implementation of MSRs & continually improving communication across all relevant departments.
- Participate in contractor management process & periodically audit contractors' work to ensure that safe work practices & standard operating procedures are followed.

Qualifications
I. Education:
- Bachelor's in Engineering
II. Experience:
- 4 or more years of experience working with multi-disciplinary Engineering & Maintenance associates to achieve cost-effective goals.
- Equipment design experience & project engineering.
- Plant management experience is preferred.
- Prior Manufacturing or Related experience.
- Experience programming PLC controls preferred.
- Energy Reporting experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to use computer-based technology.
- Ability to interpret & create technical CAD drawings & schematics.
- Ability to understand electrical or mechanical diagrams.
- Ability to program & debug programming languages.
- Ability to understand & troubleshoot machine problems.
- Knowledge in designing electrical control systems.
- Familiarity with PLC programming language
- Ability to understand & design modern safety control systems.
