Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be working closely with our design and construction teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects, and will play a key role in shaping the future of our cities and communities. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Transportation Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the design and implementation of transportation engineering projects, including highways, bridges, and transit systems.
2. Utilizing Civil 3D, GIS, and other engineering software to create detailed designs and plans.
3. Performing complex data analysis to inform decision-making and design processes.
4. Coordinating with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
5. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
6. Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
7. Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in transportation engineering and construction.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior Transportation Engineer position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on design and construction.
3. Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure is required.
4. Proficiency in Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant engineering software.
5. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
6. Experience in managing complex engineering projects from start to finish.
7. Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
9. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
10. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to transportation engineering and construction.
