Job Title: Electrical Engineer - High Voltage Distribution Systems

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Massillon, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and reliability of high-voltage electrical distribution systems, managing substations, and overseeing electrical equipment for utilities. This role requires expertise in engineering, commissioning, preventive maintenance planning, load balancing, and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe operation and reliability of the high-voltage electrical distribution system and utilities.

Manage the substation and handle emergency incidents according to established protocols.

Engineer, commission, and supervise electrical systems installation and startup.

Develop, update, and improve preventive maintenance plans and procedures for substations and electrical equipment.

Analyze and balance electric consumption loads.

Manage electricity metering systems for accurate usage monitoring.

Participate in utility expansion projects and collaborate with project teams and engineers.

Coordinate with plant engineering and maintenance teams for electrical shutdown management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.

3 or more years of experience in 110KV or above HV substation operation and management.

Proficiency in electrical engineering, construction, and commissioning.

Familiarity with electrical-related standards, rules, and regulations.
