We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Danville, VA, just 45 miles from Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will ensure compliance with equipment safety standards, manage engineering costs, and support high-quality production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure equipment compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Track and manage engineering expenses and capital budgets.

Design, install, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities.

Support production teams to achieve high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing.

Apply continuous improvement tools to resolve product irregularities.

Prepare cost estimates, justify projects, review designs, and oversee installations.

Research and implement new equipment, systems, and processes to enhance operations.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

At least 2 years of engineering experience

Experience in manufacturing or related industries

Proficiency in CAD and understanding of electrical/mechanical diagrams

Ability to program and debug languages

Preferred Skills:

Experience with PLC programming

Skill in interpreting and creating technical CAD drawings and schematics

Proficiency in troubleshooting machine issues
