Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical lead in operating and maintaining plant equipment for a leading manufacturing facility. As an integral member of their team, you'll manage machinery design, project development, testing, and problem-solving. Your responsibilities will include designing and upgrading both new and existing equipment projects, as well as overseeing electrical system enhancements within their facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and draft electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

Develop control reliable safety circuits and interlocks.

Collaborate with vendors to maintain an up-to-date Arc Flash program.

Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for daily tasks.

Direct and coordinate equipment operation, maintenance, and repair activities.

Demonstrate proficiency in low and medium voltage AC and DC power systems.

Possess knowledge of equipment control circuits and experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's.

Ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently within approved budgets.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing work methods and procedures to enhance product quality.

Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to address operational issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.

Dedication to upholding company, safety, and plant policies and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
