TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER - $80K - $100K

This is A DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

Integrity Trade Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER starting between $80K-$100K. This is a full time hybrid position; 3 days in the office and 3 days remote. This offers a competitive Compensation, excellent Benefits, and exceptional Perks!

Responsibilities:
This role involves a comprehensive approach to managing transportation projects, covering technical design, regulatory compliance, client and agency coordination, and professional development.

  • Designing the layout and alignment of roads to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Assessing how water flows and interacts with transportation infrastructure, crucial for designing drainage systems and preventing flooding.
  • Designing temporary traffic control measures to maintain traffic flow during construction.
  • Analyze traffic patterns and designing traffic signals to optimize traffic flow safety.
  • Engage with municipal clients, utility districts, and state agencies to coordinate project efforts and address any issues that arise.
  • Participate in industry events to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in transportation engineering and to promote the firm's services.


Location: Frankfort, IL or South Holland, IL

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3 years' or more experience as a Transportation Engineer
  • Must have an active PE in the state of Illinois
  • Experience in designing roadways for municipalities, various Illinois counties and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is preferred
  • Ability to be collaborative
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
