Multiple Positions to Include Automation Technicians, Controls Technicians and Electrical/Maintenance Technicians
1st Shift 5:00am- 2:00pm
2nd Shift 2:00- 11:00pm
3rd Shift 10:00p, - 6:30am

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automation, Controls & Electrical Technicians to join our team in the construction industry. This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to bring your technical expertise to a leading construction company. If you have a passion for technology and innovation, enjoy problem-solving and have a keen interest in the manufacturing industry, this role is for you. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in automation or controls, and will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical and automated systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair automated systems and electrical equipment in a construction environment.
2. Conduct regular inspections of systems to identify and fix faults and ensure optimal performance.
3. Develop and implement automation solutions and control strategies to improve operational efficiency.
4. Work closely with the engineering team to develop and implement project plans.
5. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
6. Provide technical support and training to other team members.
7. Collaborate with project managers to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
8. Keep up-to-date with advancements in automation and electrical technology and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
9. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, operational manuals, and maintenance instructions.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation, controls, or electrical systems.
2. A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field is a PLUS
3. Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems and electrical equipment.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
5. Proficiency in the use of various tools and equipment used in the installation and repair of electrical systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and automation issues.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
8. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
9. Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems would be an advantage.
10. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various construction sites as needed.
