Position:

We are seeking a talented Instrumentation and Control Engineer specializing in water and wastewater treatment to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects and make a meaningful impact on community health and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement instrumentation and control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Specify and select instrumentation devices such as flow meters, level sensors, analyzers, and control valves based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop control strategies and algorithms to optimize plant operations, enhance process efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • Conduct site assessments, inspections, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and environmental scientists to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Provide technical support during project execution, troubleshooting complex issues, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation as required by project deliverables and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 10-15 years) in instrumentation and control engineering within the water/wastewater industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and programming for automation of water and wastewater processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., EPA, DEP) related to water and wastewater treatment.
  • Experience with instrumentation selection, calibration, and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain preferred.
