Position: Senior Process Engineer Location: Randleman, NC. Overview: As a Senior Process Engineer at The Timken Company, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing processes and driving efficiency across our operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and implement innovative solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in process engineering to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
  • Design and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Conduct detailed analyses, including process simulations and modeling, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with our engineering, quality and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Utilize computer programming languages to manage manufacturing instructions within our engineering systems and deliver to our production team through our MES system. Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience (3+ years) in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in computer programming languages is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of driving results and managing projects.
    • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence VISA required due to munition products. Benefits:
