Description
- Lead mechanical design efforts, including conceptualization, detailed design, and validation of mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing specialists, to integrate mechanical solutions into overall equipment design.
- Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to assess technical risks, optimize designs, and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation of mechanical designs.
- Manage prototype development and testing activities, analyzing test data to iterate and refine designs.
- Support manufacturing and assembly processes, providing guidance to ensure efficient production and quality control.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.
Profile
