As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. You will lead projects from concept through to completion, leveraging your expertise to innovate and optimize mechanical designs to meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.

Description

  • Lead mechanical design efforts, including conceptualization, detailed design, and validation of mechanical systems and components.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing specialists, to integrate mechanical solutions into overall equipment design.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to assess technical risks, optimize designs, and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation of mechanical designs.
  • Manage prototype development and testing activities, analyzing test data to iterate and refine designs.
  • Support manufacturing and assembly processes, providing guidance to ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.

Profile

In return for a competitive compensation packet, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelors Degree, Mechanical Preferred
  • Familiarity with Capital and OEM equipment
  • Adept at SolidWorks
  • Experience with Chemical Process Equipment
  • Machine Design Experience

Job Offer

  • Base Salary of $90,000 to $100,000
