ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead troubleshooting efforts on extrusion equipment and processing issues

• Provide Engineering and Technical leadership from concept development to implementation of new equipment and process implementations. To include Standard Operating Procedure Development, Capital Planning and Project Planning / Implementation.

• Develop and implement Continuous Improvement Plans to promote process optimization and resolve reoccurring reliability concerns
• Lead the development and implementation of capital projects to optimize machine capabilities and reliability
• Assist Maintenance personnel in addressing reliability issues and developing preventative maintenance measures to support equipment reliability
• Oversee outside suppliers and contractors as necessary
• Lead training for engineers, maintenance and manufacturing for new equipment and processes
• Assist manufacturing efforts in all New Product / Process Development trials

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or other engineering discipline
• 5+ years' experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Organizational skills and a systematic approach to problem definition and solution development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership abilities to be able to lead projects
• Strong self-motivation to be able to work independently
