Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of a variety of civic infrastructure projects.
2. Coordinate with various stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and the public to ensure project success.
3. Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all work is completed on time and within budget.
4. Utilize your knowledge of DOT regulations to ensure all projects are in compliance.
5. Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all work is done to the highest standard.
6. Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
7. Lead and manage a team of engineers and other professionals, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
8. Utilize Microsoft Project and other project management tools to track project progress and report to senior management.
9. Ensure all construction work is done safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
10. Lead strategic planning sessions to identify future infrastructure needs and potential projects.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the civil engineering or construction industry.
3. Demonstrated experience with DOT regulations and quality control procedures.
4. Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
5. Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and construction management practices.
6. Experience with Microsoft Office and project management softwares.
7. Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
8. Experience with water resource projects is a plus.
9. Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
