Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Engineer (fluent in English & Spanish) to join our dynamic team at PureLi. The ideal candidate will contribute to providing innovative and cost-effective solutions, involving the development or enhancement of techniques, procedures, and products. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this role. A successful candidate will play a key role in designing and prototyping our key products, and subsequently deploying these products in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A candidate is expected to lead the execution of on-site pilots, involving product deployment and maintenance, operation of sensor networks, and data collection.
  • Supervision of our clients operators to ensure a successful pilot demonstration.
  • Design, develop, and automate reactor systems to accelerate lithium extraction from brine sources.
  • Assist in material and system testing, as well as validation in lab and field settings.
  • Create and maintain product documentation and operational protocols.
  • Design, implement, and execute laboratory and field tests, document results, and develop internal and external presentations.
  • Conduct and participate in technical reviews of requirements, results, and specifications.
  • Communicate with customers and collaborators on technology development and commercialization.
Qualifications:

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in electronics circuit design and Arduino programming
  • Competence in 3D modeling and fabrication through laser cutting and 3D printing.
  • Hands-on experience with material fabrication, reactor development, sensor network, and data analytics.
  • Experience with fieldwork and pilot system development.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (South America) in line with project needs.
