They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems and components for their advanced robotics platforms. Your expertise will drive the evolution of their automotive robotics technology and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical and software components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for robotics applications, including power management, sensors, and communication interfaces.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and systems engineers) to integrate electrical systems into overall robotics platforms.
  3. Develop detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams.
  4. Oversee the prototyping and testing of electrical components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
  5. Implement and optimize algorithms for signal processing and control systems.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototype and production systems.
  7. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership and guidance.
  8. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering and robotics.
  9. Contribute to project planning and estimation, including defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on robotics or automotive applications.
  3. Proven experience designing and developing electrical systems for complex robotics platforms.
  4. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and simulation tools.
  5. Strong understanding of power electronics, signal processing, and control systems.
  6. Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  8. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  9. Experience with automotive standards and protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) is a plus.
