About the RoleAs an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing Motor Control Center (MCC) products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions that power today's grids and contribute to the future of energy distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Design & Development: Analyze customer specifications and design tailored solutions for MCC products and related protection/control systems.
- Project Leadership: Lead project teams and take full ownership of project deliverables, including creating technical documents such as specifications, layout drawings, unit schedules, and bills of material.
- Collaboration: Work with application engineering, project management, sales, and customers to resolve technical challenges and ensure seamless project execution.
- Manufacturing Support: Partner with factory teams to address production challenges and ensure the successful manufacturing of your designs.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to product and process improvements by providing feedback and collaborating with team leads and business excellence teams.
What You ll NeedBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role, with at least 2 years in a complex, made-to-order manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in Motor Control Centers products and systems.
- Proficiency in standard protection and control technologies for low voltage power distribution products.
- Strong skills in creating, converting, and modifying drawings using Promis.e, AutoCAD Electrical, ELCAD, or Engineering Base software (Engineering Base experience preferred).
- Ability to read and evaluate electrical schematics to identify errors and suggest improvements.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Willingness to travel up to 5%, with optional part-time remote work.
