Job Details

The position will provide mechanical engineering services to the Ingot department to safely meet the company's business plan for engineering, production, maintenance, and quality standards. In this role, you will serve as a critical team member to optimize the safety, efficiency, output, and quality of our plant infrastructure (including but not limited to machine tools & roll grinding equipment, buildings, grounds, water systems, compressed air systems, environmental systems, and cranes) and manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for mechanical system integration for assigned area projects to create, sustain, or improve manufacturing infrastructure, equipment, and processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Ag Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing industry (co-op and internships may be included)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 years of Engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience interpreting design and control of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or utility systems for machine understanding and performing improvement modifications
  • Experience developing and implementing mechanical engineering project work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
