Job Description:

ARM GROUP is actively hiring for a CMM Technicians for our growing Client located in Ridgeville, SC.

2nd and 3rd shift available

sign on bonus and referral bonus

Pay rate : Upto $21/hr . This is a direct hire, full-time opportunity

Job Purpose

Our CMM Technicians are responsible for ensuring that quality-related functions are executed on the shop floor. They must follow work instructions, read blueprints, use hand tools, lab tools, gauges and multiple components, build, test, inspect, sample, produce charts, graphs,


Education, Experience and Competencies

To be considered, you must possess the following education, skills, experience:

  • Conduct analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods and other samples, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications
  • Monitor testing procedures and processes to ensure tests performed are done according to item specifications, protocols and standard test methods
  • Interpret test results and compare them to the specifications and control limits in place while providing recommendations on the appropriateness of data
  • Complete documentation necessary for the support of testing procedures, including inventory forms, data capture forms, tracking charts and equipment logbooks
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly
  • Ensure safety during operation of equipment and of fellow coworkers
  • Perform routine checks throughout the day to monitor all stages of process including melt, sand cores, casting, heat treat, shot blasting, machining, and packaging.
  • Assist with training new technicians, teaching them the ins and outs of the job and the specifications, standards and regulations to be met
  • Assess analytical and testing methods and procedures in order to determine how they can be improved in the future.
  • Conducting and verifying quality control plans and other control documents.
  • Identifying testing parameters for products.
  • Evaluating production stages and testing the composition, appearance, and functionality of completed products.
  • Training employees on quality standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring that products comply with standards.
  • Documenting defects and recommendations for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting quality audit reports.
  • Keeping abreast of industry standards and regulations.
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.


To be considered, you must possess the following education, skills, experience:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 solid years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 or more years of inspection and experience operating CMM machines
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing measuring equipment and lab equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in reading blueprints
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining work logs, SPC Maintenance, Load Charts, Scrap Records
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
  • Strong work ethic and solid work record
  • Safety and quality focus
  • Strong team orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • 2nd & 3rd shifts available
