Job Description:
Dewberry is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support our Panama City, FL office. This individual will work on projects for the Tyndall Airbase and support work in the Panama City office. Experience in electrical design, lighting installations, underground utility layouts, electrical switchgears, and infrastructure projects is desired. Some mechanical, civil, and structural knowledge is beneficial. The candidate should have a proven track record of solid design work, meeting project deadlines and budgets, and working well in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
Willingness to learn and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Verbal communication includes speaking with the Design Engineers, Utility company, other contract staff, facility staff in person via two-way communications
Conducts site visits and field inspections of electrical systems
Attends client and contractor meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Identify potential extra work issues and keep the Resident Engineer advised of potential issues
Review plans for constructability and prepare comments
Required Skills & Required Experience:
ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field
Minimum 3 years of experience required with underground utility layouts and electrical systems
EI required; PE is a plus
Trained and familiar with OSHA standards
Valid Driver's license required
Self-motivated and well organized
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
