Job Description:
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $72,000 - $94,500 based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and education.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development team focused on Residential HVAC products supporting the Advanced Distributor Products (ADP) business of Lennox International. You will be working on our next generation of Air Handling Units as well as in enhancing our current product portfolio through product optimization for cost and performance.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

This role involves the design and validation of electrical systems and controls for Air Handling Units.

Under guidance, plan and execute test plans for validation of designs and component selection involving multi and variable speed motors, electric heat kits, control boards.

Ensure products meet regulatory requirements regarding Safety (UL, NEC), Performance and reliability.

Close collaboration with a team of specialists in CAD, ERP, manufacturing engineering, airflow and heat transfer is necessary.

You will interface with ADP and Lennox International laboratory network for planning, evaluating, and making recommendations on product changes, quality improvements and warranty support.

Job requires collaboration with manufacturing engineering, sourcing, production and product design SMEs across ADP and the residential business to leverage best practices.

Under guidance, define and execute new product/idea/component evaluation and test plans taking into account testing capabilities and needs.

Coordinate the efforts of designers and technical support staff in executing project plans.

Use your creativity to improve processes, tools and to promote best practices in design, testing and manufacturing.

Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.

1-2 years of related experience.

Experience in the use of CAD (Creo, Windchill preferred) software.

Requires basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in generation of wiring diagrams, electrical component sizing, bills of material etc.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

High degree of self-starting and continuous improvement mindset.

Experience with UL safety standards is a plus.
