We also delivers state-of-the-art gas processing solutions to support customer expansion, efficiency improvements and emissions reductions.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will work directly in the Center of Excellence (COE). You will be tasked with creating global tags which help identify different parts of industrial gas plants.

Once this first phase has been completed, you will be tasked with creating a plant model which will enable us to identify performance gaps and help us maintain optimal plant performance.

Work with the Data Historian tool that collects real-time data from our plant facilities.

Create Global tags in Historian and map them to the correct local tags. These tags will be inputs for the various calculations done by the online tools. The task requires a full understanding of the air separation process. As a help you will need to access and interpret the Human Machine Interphase (HMI) and P&ID's for each plant

Partner with local resources (Remote Operation Center performance engineer), who can verify that the Global tags are correctly set up.

Partner closely with regional business and with COE colleagues to create Plant Models which calculates model power consumption and argon recovery.

Collect design data from Engineering Design Memorandum (EDM) and historical data from Historian Global tags to be used to create Plant Models.

Partner with regional business to create Regression models for PER-online (Process Efficiency Review) using the PER Regression template Excel file.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)

2 or more years' experience as a Process Engineer

Understanding of industrial gases industry preferred
