Stationary Engineer

Available in both the Bay and Valley locations

This is a 13-week assignment with a possibility of extension depending on business needs.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in large facilities, preferably in healthcare.

Strong mechanical skills.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This journey-level role involves independent maintenance and repairs of building structures, grounds, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to general maintenance, plant operation, and preventive maintenance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance and operation of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, boilers, and emergency power equipment

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Regular inspection and documentation of equipment status for compliance with regulatory agencies

Engage in facility support activities, maintaining records, and responding to building maintenance issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in large facility operations, preferably within healthcare settings

Required Certifications: EPA universal CFC certification (within 90 days of hire)

Proficient in using computer and building automation systems

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform detailed work accurately

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent educational/experience level

This role is critical for maintaining the operational integrity of facilities, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems function at the highest standards
