AECOM is actively seeking an energetic, dedicated person to fill the role of Environmental Technician II for employment in the Jacksonville, Florida office. This position would be reporting under AECOM's Environmental team in Jacksonville, which carries out environmental site assessment and remediation work both inside and outside the province.

The successful candidate will support various projects conducting remedial excavation oversight, contractor management and routine field monitoring and soil sampling activities. Conducting field work is an integral component of this position and it is important that the applicant must be willing to travel, including extended travel, when necessary.

The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.

May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.

Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.

Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.
