Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in plastics to optimize and enhance our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of plastics engineering, process optimization, and quality control, with the ability to drive improvements and innovate within our production environment.

My client is a leading, international manufacturer of medical device components. They are one of the most reputable companies in their industry, and they are set for exciting growth at their facility based near Delavan, WI.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for plastic products.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and refine processes, incorporating best practices and new technologies.
  • Monitor production data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering within the plastics industry.
  • Proven track record of optimizing plastic manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of plastic materials, processing technologies, and quality control methods.
  • Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and address complex process issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, or other plastic processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FDA regulations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Job Offer

  • Base salary up to $105,000 depending on experience
