- Preferred candidates would include 3+ years of previous experience

Typical task breakdown:
- Part or project identification.
- Material management.
- Print interpretation.
- Test plan development.
- Nondestructive evaluation.
- Destructive evaluation & testing.
- Documentation.
- Communication.
- Work with laboratory, internal quality engineers, external suppliers & customer.
Position's Contributions to Work Group:
- This position will require the engineer to work within the Failure Analysis & Met Lab groups and contribute to the immediate AMT Decatur team as well as internal & external process partners.
Interaction with team:
- This position will interact with several team members including the Failure Analysis team, the NDE management team, the AMT Laboratory team, the Chemical team, the quality team, external suppliers & customers.
Work environment:
Steady mix of shop, lab & office/desk work included for most of the documentation & communication.
