Job Description:

Summary:

As a Mechanical Drafter Technician at company, you will work closely with mechanical design engineers to prepare detailed design and drawings for mechanical components. This includes maintenance of MCAD component library. Also, perform structural analysis using SolidWorks or other analysis tools e.g., Ansys Mechanical with guidance from engineers.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years' experience and proficiency using 3D CAD modeling tools such as SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, CATIA

5+ years' experience drafting manufacturing drawings per ANSI Y14.5 and GD&T standards

Understanding for High Volume manufacturing processes e.g., high pressure die casting, metal stamping, extrusion, injection molding etc.

Demonstrated good verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Product Data Management (PDM) tools such as Windchill

Experience using structural simulation tools e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS-Mechanical

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
