Overview:
The Sr Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and planning of new and existing products by performing engineering duties and developing, designing and testing mechanical devices.

Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

Responsible for planning, input, review, output, validation of, and changes of the design for assigned tasks.

Maintain electronic job files as applicable to assigned tasks.

Technical mechanical resource to Sales, Service and Production.

Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.

Involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.

Cross-trains designated back-ups.

Create/modify 3D parts & assemblies

Create/ modify 2d Mechanical Drawings

Mechanical Design Changes

Create/ modify technical manuals.

Creating/ modify work instructions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of science in mechanical engineering

Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, 3D Modeling, and other software or technology as relevant to this position.

Inventor experience required

ERP system knowledge a plus
