The Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior/Associate Electrical Engineer with up to five years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, can work independently with minimum supervision, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who has some experience in electrical engineering design and basic project management skills. Candidates are not required to have a Professional Engineering (PE) license in Electrical Engineering, but preferably are in the process of obtaining the PE license.

Responsibilities:

• Design of projects
• Assistance with preparation of proposals and fee estimate
• Development of work plans and schedules
• Assisting in the management of projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clients
• Performing studies, calculations, designs and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Up to five years of practical work experience
• Experience with electrical engineering and an understanding of electrical building codes is desired
• Actively pursuing a California PE License is preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
• Solid experience with the MS Office Suite

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
