Job Description:



Dielectric is hiring an entry-level Electrical Engineer who will gain hands-on experience in designing and developing new products, from conception through production release, with a focus on broadcast and FM antennas as well as RF filter systems. This role is ideal for college students nearing graduation and are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of education and some experience, combined with a strong willingness to learn. Reporting primarily to the Director of Electrical Engineering, this person will also collaborate closely with the RF Systems and Components department to support technical initiatives and meet company goals.


Duties and Responsibilities:





  • Design and develop new products to create 3D models using ANSYS HFSS design software and other proprietary software.

  • Conduct technical analysis, calculations, testing, etc. to ensure designs comply with performance requirements.

  • Create product documentation and records for cost estimates, engineering change orders, and technical review.

  • Collaboration with other engineers, designers, and technicians to complete design and test of RF product.

  • Ability to readily adapt to changing scope and priorities.




Required Experience:





  • B.S. Electrical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering Technology- RF/Antenna Engineering is a plus

  • A background in related field is preferred, but not required (broadcast, wireless, etc.)

  • Knowledge of RF theory related to filter/ combiner design as well as other RF components.

  • Knowledge and understanding of RF test equipment (VNA, etc.)

  • ANSYS Electronics Desktop and optiSlang experience a plus

  • Experience with Python and ladder logic a plus

  • Mathematica experience a plus

  • Knowledge of Oracle MRP a plus

  • Proficient with MS Office suite

  • Demonstrated organizational & communication skills with attention to detail and understanding of quality criteria
