Senior Mechanical Engineer - Aircraft and Missiles Ground Support Equipment Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own hardware from concept generation to real world use
  • Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision
  • Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans
  • Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production
  • Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed
  • Travel to test sites as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of mechanical experience in a professional setting
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1791, and MIL-STD-1366
  • CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards
  • Experience in an immersive technical project (collegiate project teams or professional settings)
  • Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills
  • High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles
  • Minimum B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a DoD Security Clearance. Existing Clearance a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Performance Oriented Packaging (POP)
  • Experience in NX/Teamcenter
  • Ability to integrate electronic components into mechanical designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.)
  • Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing
US Salary Range

$142,000 - $213,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
