Key Role:
Lead and facilitate projects to establish and improve the manufacturing capabilities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Develop and implement strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals. Work with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact. Facilitate the adoption of best practices in project management and process optimization. Oversee the documentation and updating of processes to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements. Research and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with leading efforts to establish or improve production of electromechanical assemblies using Lean and Six Sigma techniques to deliver measurable benefit to the client.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse set of stakeholders to establish data driven goals, build consensus, and deliver results with limited organizational authority.
- Ability to communicate succinctly, turning complex operations into key points for leadership understanding and buy-in.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of experience with delivering measurable benefit to the client.
- Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma and Lean.
- Secret clearance.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with working in, for, or with the U.S. military.
- Knowledge of munitions and weapon systems.
- PMP Certification.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
