1. Take part in designing and maintaining electronic modules used in life science instrumentation, including digital, power, and mixed signal.
2. Participate in detailed design, including board layout, fault analysis, costing, DFM, and testing.
3. This position also requires some ability to collaborate with other life sciences related disciplines in bringing products to market.

1. Strong electrical engineering discipline training with 3+ years hands-on experience in electronic design, e.g., microprocessor-based embedded system, power supply, motion control or other designs; knowledge of design for manufacturing/testing a plus.
2. Must demonstrate a deep understanding of electronics circuit design theories.
3. Lab skills for measurement using various instruments required.
4. PADs/PadsLogic or OrCAD and PCB layout skills are required.
5. Knowing basic digital design including Microprocessor/DSP, RAM/ROM, CPLD/FPGA is required.
6. A strong team player spirit is required.
7. Familiarity with UL/CSA/TUY/CE requirements is a plus.
