1. You will be responsible for the design and development of CMOS and SOI analog Integrated circuit designs for mobile handset applications.
2. You will be responsible for top-level chip simulation and verification.
3. You will prepare design review material to present to the product development team.
4. You will work within a group of analog/RFIC design experts and be assigned to a multi-chip module product team with typically 3 to 5 design engineers.
5. You will interface with design management and module design teams to create the detailed specification, report design progress, drive analog IP development, simulate and verify chip-level performance, and to collect, track, and resolve any performance or circuit design problems.

1. MSEE+3 or BSEE +5 years of engineering design experience.
2. Good communication skills, ability to break down complex problems, set priorities, report progress, execute to a schedule, and have strong teamwork skills.
3. Transistor-level CMOS or SOI RFIC design.
4. Basic device physics.
5. Must be experienced in analog or RFIC design at the chip level.
6. Must understand the basic device physics, have the ability to develop and use advanced linear and nonlinear models or simulation techniques and be able to translate between the model, simulation, physical implementation, and the measured performance of a device.
7. Requires experience in simulation tools, analog circuit test characterization techniques and equipment.
8. Must have good communication skills, be able to break down complex problems, set priorities, report progress, execute to a schedule, and have strong people skills.

1. The ideal candidate should have experience using Cadence or similar analog IC design tools and hands-on experience with lab measurements and characterization equipment.
2. Desire candidate with experience in design of common analog blocks such as op-amps, LDOs, level-shifters, digital interfaces, and bandgaps, and current references.
3. Knowledge of microwave circuit design and test equipment is valuable, including impedance matching, s-parameters and RF front-end architectures.
4. Prefer engineers with understanding of semiconductor device physics.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $124,400 - $235,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
