They are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for their range of consumer hair products. This role requires a blend of advanced engineering skills, creative problem-solving, and a passion for consumer-focused innovation. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive projects from concept through to production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience in the consumer product or hair care industry is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in mechanical design and analysis tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Proven track record in managing engineering teams and complex projects.
- 3D SolidWorks CAD with best practices for part design, complex assemblies, and configurations.
- Rapid prototyping and manufacturing (3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting).
- Mass manufacturing methods (injection molding, CNC, etc.).
- Experience working directly with industrial designers translating CMF requirements into mechanical design.
