About the role:

As a mechanical engineer on Lumafield's product design team, you'll bring our next generation of products to life. You'll bring your experience with OnShape and familiarity with electro-mechanical systems with moving parts to apply to our most challenging problems. Your team members will have deep skillsets on precision and structural design which you can learn from and contribute to!

About you:
  • 2+ years of Mechanical design experience on products which shipped to customers
  • Experience with automotive, industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace products
  • Experience with cable design, cable routing, and failure analysis for highly flexible, moving cables
  • Experience with OnShape
  • Experience with 3D printing
  • Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and machine shop equipment
  • Experience designing bent sheet metal, machined, and welded parts
  • Experience with products designed for high-throughput manufacturing
  • Experience with cable design for high-vibration, high-movement systems
  • Experience with X-ray products
